Writer and Photographer…

My Grandfather loved his Kodak Polaroid and my Dad his Super 8. As a child I just wanted to hold cameras and push buttons. In high school I was a darkroom assistant and had two very enthusiastic friends with 35mm SLR’s. College classes enriched my skills and set me on the path to “expensive lens” fever. That fever has kept me behind a camera most of my life.

I use Canon professional equipment with “L” lenses as my primary choice. My tripods and geared heads are heavy duty Manfrottos… preferably manufactured in Italy! Camera bags? Honestly, I'm yet to find the one that works at all!

The nickname “Photohobo” was given to me by one of my oldest and closest friends. He told me I carry a tripod as a hobo carries a bindle. I do and the moniker stuck!

Most important to this bio is to extend thanks for taking the time to view my work. People, Places, Objects and Animals all have their decisive moments and I appreciate being camera ready when that moment occurs. Hopefully I’ve captured an image you appreciate enough to display in your business, office, home, or cottage.

In closing, please leave a note so that I’ll know that you graced my site! And most importantly… may God bless you and yours!
